I stayed at Canyon Ranch in Miami Beach for two months this summer and it was a dream getaway. My one bedroom apartment (found via
VRBO) was on the 8th floor and gave me a sweeping view up the coast.
At dusk, my favorite time of day, I would just sit and watch!

... and the view from the adult only pool on the rooftop of the Canyon Ranch Resort Fitness Center and Spa. You can see, there is a beautiful park like setting between Towers. And do you see the low white roof on the left? That's the restaurant which includes outdoor seating and lounging.
What did I enjoy most at Canyon Ranch Resort? Besides being right on the beach, having warm weather and a steady beautiful ocean breeze, I loved doing laps in the pool(s) and going to fitness classes. You can really shape up there! Daily yoga classes, Pilates, abs and legs workouts, boxing, Zumba, cardio in the pool and more. Another thing I thoroughly enjoyed -the grocery store was right across the street!
